Project: Real-time Strategy

Okay.. i havent achieved much today, but atleast ive figured out how to multitexture my terrain.

I’ve allso found some new textures and small models like: trees, rocks, grass, etc. (But they will come later)

Project Real-time strategy

I’ve started doing and learning some programming about Blitz3d. My first project is: Project RTS., which hopefully turns out to be a real-time strategy game/simulator/engine.

As i said, the project is only started, and is in its early state.

The game so far,  is about controling a little boat, in a big scenary.

The features i’ve made so far is:

  • One textured terrain
  • Skybox
  • Waterplane
  • A controleable boat
  • Mouse and key controlled camera
  • FPS counter
  • Wireframe mode
  • Fogmode

Next i will:

  • Add/learn to do more realistic water,
  • Hopefully get the terrain to be multitextured.
